In 1995, I set up a T-shirt shop at Gibralter Trade Center in Mount Clemens. I was there for about 4 months, right up until the end of the Christmas season. I learned a lot during this time, from merchandising and display on a tight budget, to part time help and sales. The most important thing I think I learned was the fact that I hate carrying inventory. It took years for me to get rid of what I had purchased, with the last of it going to the local thrift stores.
