Don’t Forget!

By now, everyone in the USA should have moved their clocks back an hour for the end of Daylight Saving Time. If not, we’ll wait.

Hurry up.

Done yet?

M’Kay.

So what would be more important than adjusting your clocks so that you don’t show up for work at the wrong time? Changing the batteries in your smoke detector. The NFPA suggest that smoke detectors should have their batteries replaced every six months. I change mine when I change the clocks. Makes it that much easier to remember.

Oh, and please. Don’t use those cheap dollar store batteries either. Use a quality name brand battery with a clear date of use on it. Why should you risk the life of your loved ones to save a few bucks??
