The Week That Was
My, how the time does fly! I’ve also noticed the long days of Summer are starting to get much shorter. Summer seems to be one of those seasons that starts off slow and takes forever to get here, but once it’s in motion, it picks up momentum until it is all over. Well, at least that is what it feels like from this vantage point.
I’ve been completely occupied over the past few weeks restarting my company, Bowman Marketing. From deciding what products and services to offer, to researching different designers and suppliers, I’ve been greatly consumed. And? I love it. Although I admit to some level of frustration, as I want to be ready NOW, the project is moving along nicely.
This week I have aquainted myself with Googles Analytics program (Great stuff) and I’m working on both Adsense and AdWords. There was some account mix up on the one, which I am waiting for Google to correct, and the other is just waiting for approval. I’m hoping to have everything up and running for September 1st. We’ll see how that goes.
I mentioned last week I had my birthday. On Sunday, Aunt Janet and Uncle George took me to Cracker Barrel for dinner, which was good. We sat on the “porch” in the nice wooden rockers out front chatting for some time. This week, they are at my parents in Ohio. I would have liked to have gone, but I am saving my days for another undisclosed project. I’ve put in for time off from work for the end of December, plus I plan to have a few long weekends between now and then.
After leaving Cracker Barrel, I went to visit with my frIend Bill. He’s been working on a garden pond the last few weekends in his spare time. The water is in, and this week he is setting up the pump. I think it’s going to turn out nice. Hopefully he will take pictures as he progresses and will post them soon.
Until next time.
