Weekend Update

Think I might try something new, and just do a weekly recap. Let’s see how it goes.

The pace for this past week was a little bit different than most. Seems like the slowdown is making a dent in how much we have to do at work. This week I left early just about every night, sometimes by more than a couple hours. For now, I don’t mind. It’s Summer; Though, I wouldn’t mind shoving it all into 4 days, and taking Fridays off.

Much of my free time these past few weeks have been spent looking into different products I can add to my own business, and have found a few more to investigate. Last week I wrote about a back-end system that I had purchased, and I’ve continued to work on that, with good success. One of my weaknesses lately seems to be organization. The new software should help me overcome that, and ensure my billings go out on time and are accurate.

I’ve also enjoyed catching up with my old friend Bill over the past week or two, bantering back and forth with short emails before work. Bill and I go way back… to the 80′s even. Seems so long ago. He’s also been working on his new site when he has a little spare time. I might see if he will post a few stories, as long as I can edit them. (ahem!)
