Now You See It, Now You Don’t
Who stole the moon? A quick peak outside shows the moon currently approaching a total lunar eclipse. Kinda cool. Here in the Detroit area, the sky is clear, and visibility is good. Not sure if I have seen one of these before; at least not in recent memory.
I tried to snap off a few pics with the digital camera, but I knew the zoom wouldn’t be powerful enough to get a decent capture.
Being the curious kind, I looked up nasa.gov when we came back in. Along with the lunar eclipse, today was the anniversary of the first manned space flight, FRIENDSHIP 7 in 1962.
